For the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquid ingredients in a large bottle, let it rest for one hour, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.

To serve: Measure 85ml of your cocktail base to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate gently for a minute until cold. Pour into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries and finish using a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
